How to find out OE10.2B Service Pack version installed on an

Hi all,

The closest I can find is http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/P61158, but that does not reveal my installed service pack.

As above, kindly advise.

Thank you.

Inside the OpenEdge Installation directory, there is a text-file named "version". This one tells you what service pack has been installed.

You can also deal with the Shared Memory Version of any connected database.

For more info, look at: knowledgebase.progress.com/.../P39456

Unfortunately this article is not up-to-date and does not mention the programmatic way to fetch the information:

FIND FIRST _dbStatus NO-LOCK NO-ERROR.
DISPL _dbStatus._dbStatus-shmVers.

Hi [mention:5856a9dccfbe4fe2aa5b12392403952f:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05],

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I am aware of the "version" file, but not sure if is reliable.

Also, thanks for the share of the alternative method to find out through the shared memory version number.
