Hi all,
The SmartContainer has now been enabled to act as a 'DataContainer'.
This means that the container retrieves data for all SDOs, including SDOs
inside of child containers, at initialization with one hit to the AppServer.
Subsequent reposition and navigations will also be managed by the
DataContainer in order to retrieve data for all child SDOs in one request.
Static SmartContainers must be set to AppServer Aware for this to work. The
functionality is currently default in Dynamics standard container. The
treeview container has not yet been enabled with this.
One reason why I'm sending this is that the release note I added 2002-02-18
18:24 PST had a serious mistake, which I wont repeat, but rather rephrase
correctly:
This functionality only works for stateless requests.
