Hi,
in dynamics 1.1 the repository api routine ry/app/ryreposobp.p container a
method storePageObject. Since most of the functionality conatined in that
api was moved to the repositoryDesignManager in dynamics 2 I expected to
find an equivalent here to define instances of objects on pages
programmatically. Where can I find that function? What did I oversee?

You didn't overlook this - there isn't one. We currently assume that pages are added using the Container Builder. Please feel free to log an issue for this.
