[icf-dev] AppServer errors

Posted by LegacyUser on 19-May-2003 05:07

Hi,

Application that runs perfectly OK in client/server gives me error when

running on appserver: "FUNCTION function given invalid or Unknown

context to run IN. (5705)". Stack trace points to: -->

cacheObjectOnClient Z:\gui\icf\ry\prc\ryrepclntp.r

(Z:\gui\icf\ry\prc\ryrepclntp.r) at line 52881. This happens when we run

any program (even menu controller) and doesn't influent program behavior

(program works OK after this error) except some missing client login

caching.

Any idea?

TIA,

Damir,

Have you got the repository manager running on the AppServer?

In your XML startup section for the AppServer you should have a manager as

follows:

RepositoryManagerry/app/ryrepsrvrp.pRMHTH

Hi Damir,

I tried to respond to your email yesterday but I am having a problem with

emails.

I had the same problem as you, to fix it you need to add some entries to

your xml file.

Ensure you have all of the following entries:

ConnectionManageraf/app/afconmgrp.pNONAppServerConnectionManageraf/app/afasconmgrp.pDatabaseConnectionManageraf/app/afdbconmgrp.pRIManagerry/app/ryrisrvrp.pRISessionManageraf/app/afsessrvrp.pSMRepositoryManagerry/app/ryrepsrvrp.pRMSecurityManageraf/app/afsecsrvrp.pSEMGeneralManageraf/app/afgensrvrp.pGMLocalizationManageraf/app/aftrnsrvrp.pTMProfileManageraf/app/afprosrvrp.pPMCustomizationManagerry/app/rycussrvrp.pNONRepositoryDesignManagerry/app/rydessrvrp.pNONRegards,
