After installing the 10.1B01 service pack, I noticed that all files where opened using the text editor, not the appropriate OE editor.
To fix this, I had to go to
Window->Preferences->General->Editors->File Associations
with each type of file, (.cls .p etc) click on the "Openedge Editor" and press the default button.
