Appbuilder Perspective and Dataserver Connection

Hello all!

I support a legacy GUI application (10.1B02 - ADM1) that use Oracle as DB. I've no problem at all using Appbuilder outside Architect (.pf and .ini customized), but I don't know how to use the Appbuilder perspective inside Architect without Architect asking me to connect to the DB each time I open .w file... How do you instruct Architect to use a .pf and/or .ini file? Or are there a better way?

Use th Project -> Preferences -> Startup Parameters and add your .pf.

Also you might need to create a Run configuration to test properly with your server.

More advanced option - you can setup a JDBC connection with DB Navigator or the DTP project to review the schema of an Oracle DB directly. However, this won't help with DataServers as they aren't supported yet by DB Navigator.

Just as you said, editing the project Startup Parameter did the trick! It´s working like a charm now!

Thanks!!!!
