What does the AVM used by Architect use fior startup parameters. In particular I want to set -T to another location. I've tried the Progress supplied startup.pf and all the various configuration setting in Architect to no avail. The initial temp files still go to the working directory specified during the Progress installation.

The settings there appear to inherit from the settings in Window/Prefences/Open Edge Architect/Startup.
In neither case, do these parameters change where the initial temp-files are created when architect opens. I've added the parameter -T w:\foo to these parameters and I still get temporary files in the default Progress working directory when Architect starts.

Apologies, you are correct. The weird part is that adding this to the parent preferences shows up as the default parameters in the project properties but has no effect. I have the "Add Default Parameters checkbox" checked.
Only setting it explicitely in the Project preferences changed the temp file locations.
