I've found an Eclipse pluigin for VSS that I would like to try but when I follow the installation instructions (i.e. unzip into the Eclipse/plugins directory) OEA doesn't pick it up.
Is there anything I need to do in order to set up the plugin within OEA?

Version is important since the procedure changed with Eclipse 10.3.
Have you started with -clean?
If on 10.2a (of OpenEdge), you need to check if the VSS plugin works with Eclipse 3.4 (Ganimede). Last time I checked (maybe 5 month ago) there were issues with the VSS plugin (an small initiative, no commercial plugin, not from the Eclipse foundation) and that version of Eclipse.
You should check the website of the plugin for an updated status.
