Looks like Eclipse 3.5 will be featuring the "block selection mode" which many developers that made the move from the Procedure Editor were missing.
Any plans to use Eclipse 3.5 as the foundation for OpenEdge Architect in 10.2B ?

Definitely one of the things I really miss when using Architect..
Do you know when 3.5 is due for genral release?
Hi Mike,
The plan is to make 3.4.2 the basis for 10.2B, not 3.5. So this feature will not be available.

You've just broken a dream of many AppBuilder users...
Sorry about that. We did consider moving to 3.5 for just this reason. However, due to other factors such as stability and timing, we chose not to at this time. Keep the dream alive and know that it's fulfillment is getting nearer .

Understandable though... 3.5 is scheduled for June - that's pretty close to 10.2B, I guess (hope).
Missed this thread when it was running. I guess I must have missed the beta for 10.2B as well
Anyone got a list of new features / fixes for 10.2B ?
I'm pretty sure you haven't missed anything yet. Beta usually starts signup in the vicinity of Exchange so we aren't there yet.
I just caught the "10.2B scheduled for June" and started panicking. I am a real girl's blouse.
That would be wonderful! And by the end of this year, we get 10.2C based on Eclipse 3.5....
Just dreaming!
One thing you can be pretty sure of is that if Eclipse 3.5 is scheduled for June, a Progress release incorporating Eclipse 3.5 will not appear in June. They just don't keep that close to the edge, but rather will only ship something that has been stable for some months, i.e., released before beta.
