I wanted to setup a user ID for secure connections to the OE DB. So I added a user ID in Data Administration. But now in OEA I cannot connect to the DB anymore after I enter the new user name and password into the Edit Connection Profile. I test the connection and get back "Connection failed. [DataDirect][OpenEdge JDBC Driver][OpenEdge] Access denied(Authorisation failed)".
I found the problem. In the Edit Connection Profile box and in the User name field, it is actually the user ID they want.
