I've now been using PDS for OE / Architect for about a week. All the pieces are falling into place.
I cannot however understand the source editor. ctrl+left and ctrl+right are supposed to jump to a previous / next word. In the case of source code I would expect embedded hyphens / dashes / other characters to be skipped as word breakers. They are not, I am getting sore fingers from having to press ctrl+cursor right 20 times to get to the place I want within my line when this used to take 3 key presses with a real code editor.
I have found an Eclipse feature request from 2006 to get the Eclipse C editor to do something simlar to the java editor (bug 149489).
If I search my PDS for OE / Architect / Eclipse preferences for 'caret' then java and javascript have the option to have a 'smart caret', OpenEdge does not. The current caret is definitely not smart, it makes source editing very annoying.
Hopefully I'm missing something (checked 10.2B and 11.0)?
