I still live in the dark ages and use uppercase keyword. PDS for OE / Architect has the option to case keywords as you type. This however only happens when pressing space and not when opening brackets "(".
Typing space, backspace, bracket open is getting a bit tedious.
And I just noticed that TAB does not fire keyword casing either...
Am I missing something?
Hi Stefan,
The functionality of "Case Keywords" preferences option under 'As you type' section works only when user types a keyword and presses space key. As of now there is no support of casing on pressing TAB or braces '('.
Thanks,
Keerthy.

Disappointing, but thanks.
I just noticed that the period (.), colon (:) and enter also invoke casing.
not that this is a solution, but it's an option ...
you can have a space between the keyword and brackets
message substr ("foo",1,1)
by pressing the space, it will invoke the casing for you
I like my brackets attached to their functions / methods thank you very much. My spaces are on the insides of brackets. It has taken me over ten years to get to this point and it soothes me.
Interesting!
in my Architect (OE 10.2B05) keyword casing (to upper) works OK with "(". (Not with TAB, but I do not use TAB :-))
Have you seen right click -> Source -> Correct Case (or Ctrl + Shift + F)?
don't be such a bracketist
Strange - on both 10.2B05 and 11.0 the opening bracket will not uppercase my keyword, maybe you have some magic setting?
(and I use tabs extensively for formatting but they are always saved as spaces (three)).
Thanks for the tip, but PDS for OE / Architect and I have not yet reached a level of trust high enough for me to allow it to perform bulk changes of a source file. I can keep an eye on it while typing.
But I find casing just as important, doesn't that make me a capitalist?

What's wrong with that?
