I just reviewed the 11.1 version of the WebSpeed web-disp.p. Looks like the code for the actual instrumentation has been removed.
Had that technical reasons or is that a consequence from the new corporate strategy. My understanding so far was, that all interfaces form OpenEdge to the products to be divested should remain supported part of OpenEdge.
So, what happened to the Actional Instrumentation in OpenEdge 11.1?
We do have support for Actional Instrumentation in our framework as well... Do I need to make that a conditional compilation and make it only available for OpenEdge 11.0?
According to the new New & Revised features pdf:
Support for Progress Actional (including all Actional interceptors for OpenEdge), which
was first introduced in OpenEdge Release 10.2B, has been removed in OpenEdge
Release 11.1.
I suppose this is a consequence of the new strategy.
