How do I exclude the xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/

I am outputting an xml file using a temp-table and a dataset. I need to exclude the xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" from my xml page but I'm not sure how to. Any Help?
