Abnormal program termination

We have just moved from a windows 2003 terminal server on a HP box to a windows 2003 terminal server on a dell box. Running 10.2A, when viewing a scanned document in pdf using the webbrowser ocx, we are now getting a dialogbox with the following

Title: "Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library"

Program "c:\progress\openedge\bin\prowin32.exe"

Abnormal program termination

anyone got any clues on where to start with this ?

Julian

First place I would look is the versions of the web browser installed on both machines (assuming you still have the HP box around).

it's the webbrowser ocx from MS. Having said that, I note that on the machine that works, the version of IE is 7.0.5730.11, whilst on the machine that crashes it's 7.0.5730.13 ...

AFAIK, the web browser OCX is shipped with IE, hence my recommendation that you check the versions..

Is there a version difference in the OCX itself?

yeah, see above.

At the moment we have abandoned the change until we can figure this out.
