The speaker will be Håvard Danielsen, Principal Software Engineer for OpenEdge.
Håvard will discuss how to implement paging and batching mechanisms to effectively manage large amounts of data. Topics include how to balance searching, sorting, and filtering requirements with query performance objectives in a layered architecture such as the OERA.
The code example for this webinar utilizes ProDataSets in an OERA-compliant implementation with a .Net presentation layer, using the WinGrid Ultra Control to show how everything can come together with a functionally rich visual component.
