The topic for this Friday's OpenEdge Developers Corner webinar is"Solving Application Problems with Structured Error Handling".
The session is at 10:00am EST on November 13, 2009.
The speaker will be Sarah Marshall, QA Architect for OpenEdge.
Sarah’s presentation will present the fundamentals of structured error handling through a mock trouble-shooting exercise. By testing a simple GUI for .NET demo application for defects, she will demonstrate the ways in which structured error handling can help to track down application issues and achieve the best possible error-handling solution. Her example includes how to process both system-generated error messages and application-specific error messages, as well as tips for integrating traditional error handling mechanisms with the structured approach.
