Is there anyway to add a license component to an existing OpenEdge installation or do I have to uninstall and reinstall OpenEdge on all machines again now that I received an Infragistics license? And again if I want to add OE Studio later on?
Both License Update and Add Components do not seem to be suitable for this.
I wonder how this is meant to work.
I usually run the setup.exe from the CD-Image again. It then prompts me, that the Progress Version is already installed and that I just can install additional products in the same folder. Ecactly, what I want to do.
Worked like that for me with the Infragistics Controls in 10.2A.
On the other hand I know that Tom Bascom received an error message regarding a problem with a -1 bit version of Progress...
What error are you seing?
You can update your evaluation IG key when you run .\3party\uictrls\NetAdvantage_NET_20081_CLR20_Product.exe.
And update the Progress eval license with License Update.

One side effect is that you need to run prodebugenable again.
