Problems with PROCESS EVENTS and .NET Controls?

Posted by Steve Croff on 20-May-2009 15:17

Are there any known problems associated with using PROCESS EVENTS in ABL classes that use .NET objects?

We are experiencing random prowin32 crashes when using a PROCESS EVENTS statement with various .NET controls (ultraGrid, ProgressBar, etc)

Randomly, prowin32.exe will crash with no error or log of the error-- it just quits.  After removing PROCESS EVENTS, the problems appear to go away.

Hi Steve,

I did not find any reported issues with PROCESS EVENTS and the GUI for .NET. Please log a bug with tech support.

Thanks

OE00186641 was fixed on July 9, 2009 and the fix was first available in 10.2A02 and 10.2B. Are you having a similar problem?
