We just loaded a hotfix and one of the noticeable change is that it no longer allow the use of overrides that might get initiated by the InitializeComponent. OnResize and other significant OnXXXXXX overridable methods are of limit including the most powerful and useful WndProc.
What is the reasoning for this very limiting feature?
The patch that Joseph is referring to is not a completed hotfix, it is a partial set of files that Progress let us use to see if a specific fix is working correctly for us. The real hotfix won't have the side-effect on overrides that Joseph was concerned about.
