As we know that PSC are looking into RIA, do we continue down the route of finding what's best for us in terms of RIA, or is there some "official" steer on the direction that PSC are looking at ?
Really just wanting to know state of play, I suppose.

Well, the only non ABL-client UI demoed by Progress at this years Progress Exchange is Silverlight.
I call that at least an indication of preference.

Yup. I'm really glad that I did not
1) jump ship to Java ("Java is the future, the 4GL is dead")
2) jump into Smart Objects (adm1 adm2)
3) jump into dynamics
However, I am glad that I jumped into .net for the GUI.

I'm sure you know that there is room for disagreement in some of your statements. Certainly I agree with the one about Java and the one about .NET for the GUI.
