EQN II is a symbolic mathematics library which allows Progress ABL programmers to provide your users the ability to define their own equations for computations within your ABL application. Parameters need not be static anymore!
The existing functionality has had a bit of polish added to it as noted in the previous documentation.
New functionality has been added whereby your users can define EQN language programs from which your ABL application can execute with the new clsInterpreter object.
A new book of documentation detailing the classes and implementation details of the library has been created.
See the /doc/ directory in the downloadable zip file for more information.
Changes include:
BUILD 2011002232605
- cls*Tokenizer has ability to use ~ as escape character in strings.
- clsCalcEngine has more polished use of formulas in strings
- clsCalcEngine:EvalLogical supports formula substitution (untokenized)
- clsInterpreter provides eqn programming language
- Documentation update
