OE 11.7.1 on IBM AIX 7.2

We are looking to upgrade production this weekend to IBM Power 9. It apparently runs IBM AIX 7.2 ML 2.

Looking at Progress Availability Guide ( PAG) I do not see anything about AIX 7.2.

Is Progress 11.7 certified on AIX 7.2?

And if not, is any one running 11.7 on AIX 7.2. Is PSC planning on certification. Are there known issues?

AIX 7.2 is also supported with OpenEdge 11.2 and later OE11 releases, as of March 16, 2017.

So it looks it is supported. Is there a difference between "supported" and "certified" ? :)

I mean is there a reason it is not in PAG?

We have been running 11.6 on AIX 7.1 for more than a year, I believe. Not sure what versions you are coming from, but I know things are good up to this point in those releases.

Thanks Tim. I have been running 11.7 on AIX 7.1 for more than a year too. I am interested in 7.2 experience only.

Here is an other PKB article # 000019693 that tells AIX 7.2 is supported. I guess I have no choice but to believe PKB, rather than PAG..
