It's probably something really obvious...

James, you would need a corresponding target.lg part as well. This does not say much, apart from the server ended.
Hit 'reply' too soon. What version is this? And RCB is stored in .repl.recovery, perhaps that got corrupte somehow, I'd try to move that file somewhere else and then dsrutil db -C restart server
