OEM Alerts not working

I'm trying to configure OEM alerts in 10.2B08 on Win 2012 R2. 

When I put an email address in the default recipient field I get a confirmation mail through, but when I hit the test button in the default mail action I get an error to say that it's an invalid address (9612). 

I've found a KB suggesting this is fixed in SP08

Go to Library - Alerts - Default mail action (well all 4 of them) - Edit - change "From" field from "fathom" to "email@addy.com" that is known on your mail server (yours should do).

lol. Does it mean it works or does it mean you don't have the email address ?

It works thanks Libor. I've never configure OEM before so it's a steep learning curve. At least my customer isn't breathing down my neck just yet.
