I've discovered an issue when I try create an index with field that contains 26 positions in _Field-Name.
Error Number: 138
Do you know the limitations that Progress respect in this operation?
How are you creating the index? I am not sure what is meant by 26 positions but I assume it as number of characters.
Creating an index with a field that contains 26 characters succeeds when you do that by loading a .df file. But, it is failing when created through data dictionary. This is probably a bug in data dictionary.
Dileep, 26 positions is exactly the number of characters.
You've confirmed my suspect, because it seems a bug from Data Dictionary.
I'll create a DF to create index and report everyone.
