Error while accessing the app server brokers.

Hi All,

Good Day,

I am accessing the app server brokers through below USL

http://ssk-dbdev1.stec-inc.ad/cgi-bin/wspd_cgi.sh/WService=wsbroker1/mis/astest
When I click on any app server brokers , it is throwing below error
Could not connect to AppServer -AppService asMLSFree -H ssk-dbdev1.stec-inc.ad -S 5162 -nohostverify -sessionModel session-free
run mis/asTest1.p on runOnServer
 
AppServer is not connected
 
Any assistance on this is really appreciated.

Can you please check whether your AppServer is running?

If it is running and you don't see any error in broker and server log files, please share us the error message that you are getting while accessing the app server and any errors that logged in broker log files

From the URL it seems that you are accessing webspeed broker using messenger (i.e. CGIIP.exe). If possible first check the configuration between cgiip and wsbroker, it will be good to check cgiip log (msgr.log), wsbroker and agent logs for more information.

is this log files like msgr.log , wsborkers and agents logs will be wepspeed server ( host on wimdow), we dont have access for web speed server.

Yes, for messenger: msgr.log

I think there is one way to ping and check the webroker is running or not, using

ssk-dbdev1.stec-inc.ad/.../ping

Thanks for providing ping commmand for webbroker. I am able to ping to webbroker . When I used above command

I got

WebSpeed Transaction Server successfully accessed.

from this  , it  looks web broker is running . Please provide your thought.

just for my learning purpose , Can u please tell me purpose of admin server, app server , app server broker , web speed server and web speed server broker.

How are they interconnected.

Since I am from DB team , just I will start admin server with proadsv -start and monitor app server brokers with asbman command.

asbman -i name -q

We have three brokers and they are running and their status is showing ACTIVE.
