Hello please can you help me out on this one..

After a power cut PROGRESS 9.0A database wont open but displays messages 1886, 1887.& 1888.
How do we recover the database? 

The database was in multi user mode.

Hi,
I believe this is not a right group for the DB query. This group is for OE BPM.
As BPM is not supported in OE 9.0
Can you please post the query in DB community.

Spot on George.

Sounds like the environment variables aren't set up properly for Oracle or they are running the wrong scripts/execs . Going to need much more information from the OP to help with this kind of issue.
