Hi,
we have web application server(using PHP) which does not have Progress database installed on it.we are trying to install and use odbc drivers on application server and use it to connect progress database installed at client's end.
it is installed at our client servers. we need to connect different instances of progress db servers with progress db installed on it.
does Progress SQL-92 Client Access components need additional license and need to be installed on web application server ?
Also can we get only Progress SQL-92 Client Access components in evaluation mode from progress for evaluation of ODBC drivers.

You don't mention version, but for anything above version 9, which I hope you are beyond, the SQL Client Access is a free download from your ESD account. You may have to talk to your rep to get it there. V9 and below this is integrated with the Client Networking product which is a licensed component.
