DB Restore

Hi,

New SysAdmin here. While attempting a prorest command I received the error: 

prorest: command not found

Just wondering what may be causing this error as Progress 10.1C is installed.

What platform.  It is clearly a PATH issue.  Did you use the Proenv utility to get a set up environment?

Progress might be installed but evidently it is not in your $PATH.

Add the bin subdirectory to your PATH.

Paul,

So I ran -->export PATH=$PATH:/apps/progress10/dlc/bin

When I try prorest again I get:

/apps/progress10/dlc/bin/prorest: line 3: /apps/progress10/dlc/bin/bin/_dbutil:                            No such file or directory

/apps/progress10/dlc/bin/prorest: line 3: exec: /apps/progress10/dlc/bin/bin/_db                           util: cannot execute: No such file or directory

It looks like your DLC variable, which should point to the install dir, is actually pointing to the bin dir.
