why we use secondary broker -m3 i assume that when we use different application other than progress to connect progress database is it correct or not pls reply sir

The purpose is to segregate different usages.
The most common case is to split 4GL and SQL connections. To do that you also need to use the -ServerType parameters so that a broker will only accept one type of connection.
It is a bit unusual but you can also use secondary brokers to setup connection pools for different classes of users -- perhaps accounting, sales and shipping each get their own brokers.
