Speaking of needing documentation, is there anywhere that the .df syntax is documented ... especially including version differences? Yes, one can create examples, but, for example, I have no DataServer experience and thus no way to generate one with DataServer stuff in it. Likewise for TranMan. Frankly, it would be nice just to see all the regular options ... and one of them changed someplace along the line.
There is some format information in the Dumping and Loading chapter of the Database Administration manual.
It might also be helpful to look at the code in prodict/dump_df.p.

I've noticed it was MIA as well.
Along those lines, it looks like prodict/dump/_dmpincr.p gives the incremental DF logic, which also implictly includes the RENAME syntax (which is not needed in and presumably therefore missing from the dump DF logic).
