Appserver Log Files

Greetings

I have just been looking at some appserver log files and was surprised to see that some of the logs that should have been there (the appservers were still running) have disappeared.

When I looked at the scripts that start the system I discovered that someone had set -numlogfiles to 20 and -logthreshold to 10M.

Apart fromthe fact that some of the log files had attained almost 10 times that size (and I understand that his can happen sporadically) I was wondering if anyone knows what happens when the numlogfiles limit is reached. That is to say, does the log file just get unlinked (by the broker?) and the appserver continue to write to it or what?
