We have corvu application connecting to 8 progress databases. We cannot migrate to Progress 10 because in SQL92 ODBC/JDBC we cannot connect to multiple databases. With Progress 10.1B , we can connect to multiple databases and query on that.......on this assumption that this feature will work. Do you know HOW this feature can be interfaced with existing BI tools like CORVU /EASYASK etc. these tools still considers "DATABASE" as data source and makes separate connections?
So any Idea HOW these BI tools will issue single query against these multiple SQL progress database using new OBDC /JDBC driver of progress 10.1B ???
