custersize on an index area

This is just a question out of curioisty and one I cold not find the answer for on the progress KB.

It seems to be that Records Per Block for an index area should be 1 for best result, atleast that is what I found on the KB. However I can not find the best clustersize for an index area. I asume 1 is equal to the pre clustersize times but is having 8, 64 or 512 of any use for an index area ? Or should one keep it the same value as your data area's ? Or maybe it does not mather at all for indexes ?

That depends on how big you expect the index to be. Personally I like a cluster size of 8 blocks for most indexes.

One way to get an empty database to be unexpectedly large is to use a cluster size of 512 for indexes
