OpenEdge Explorer question

Posted by rstanciu on 29-May-2010 06:02

OpenEdge 10.2A + OExplorer / Linux

When I start OpenEdge Explorer (replace of ProgressExplorerTool) I can add a database resource. Ok.

I can start/stop/configure the database.OK. But I see a lot of icons as VitalSigns/AreaStatus, etc.

These icons are light-gray (inactive icons).

My question: is this normal ? or I loose some configuration step ?

I known that OExplorer is a light version of OEManagement but I don't understand why I can see inactive "actions"   ?!

Think of it as a marketing teaser. This way you see everyday what you miss because you don't have OEM....
