Tales From The Nano Bunker

We have done various database experiments in the Secret Bunker over the years. Each time we have had different hardware, generally with more powerful machines than the last time. In bunker 6 we had a machine with 32 GB of ram and 16 processors.

I am now going to go the opposite way. For the next bunker, I have allocated a budget of $100.00 for the machine. Obviously, it will be smaller than the bunker 6 machine was.

I will update you on it once I have built the "Nano Bunker" machine.

$100? LOL - this'll be neat to watch.

Used or new machine? I'm thinking WG not enterprise license.

Mainboard and power supply are new. The $100 does not include lumber, OpenEdge software, or labor.

Going with one of those single-board-computer configurations?

You'll have to wait and see. I'll post some pictures and once construction begins.
