Aditing:from where the user is connecting to the database

Posted by Valeriy Bashkatov on 04-Sep-2013 06:32

Hello,

Is it possible so that "Auditing" will be writing down information about where the user is connecting to the database?

for example:

IP adress of client session or

server host name or

pts/n

Similary how it is written in the database log file:

"Login usernum 24, userid bashkatov client type ABL , on Valery using TCP/IP IPV4 address 172.16.233.1. " for TCP/IP client

or

"Login by csbi on /dev/pts/0" for local client

Regards,

Valeriy

Hi Valeriy, this is an old post we migrated. Did you get an answer to your question?

If not let us know... I'm sure someone has the answer.
