I am wanting to find out if anyone has tried to use a kendo grid with in a kendo window?
I have given it a try and the grid has been created correctly but when the filter does a call to the appserver, the dataset data is displayed below the grid (outside the grid), instead of in the grid rows.
Does anyone have any information on how to get correct this?

I did a quick test and I was able to reproduce a somewhat similar behavior to what you are seeing. However, in my test, the entire grid was shown outside of the window.
However, I found that I was able to shown the grid within the window using the content property and pointing to an HTML page.
See example demos.telerik.com/.../ajax .
I saved a copy of the sample to my web server and changed content to the following (changed the base tag):
content: " http://oemobiledemo.progress.com/jsdo/example014b.html "
I also changed to content: "example014b.html" to work as a file on my web server.
Could you try this approach to see how it works from your mobile app?
