value change not changing value

Hi There,

I have a data grid in my mobile application. In the one column I am using a select control. When I write back to the DB, the value of the select control is coming through as blank. If i do an alert on value change of the control, it is constantly blank. Can you not do a selection in a data grid or is there a way around this?
