No templates are available in the current workspace

Hi,


I am trying to create a new mobile project within Developer Studio, after choosing express setup and all pre-requisites are satisfied I click next. It is at this point I am giving the error "No templates are available in the current workspace." and the mobile App Template drop-down is empty.


How do I solve this problem and install some mobile app templates?

Hello,

The message that you are getting is not expected.

The Express Setup wizard should show 4 templates.

I wonder if the issue is happening because you have been running Progress Developer Studio for a while already and somehow the connection "expired".

Also, there have been some intermittent network issues accessing s3 Amazon resources.

Progress Developer Studio obtains the configuration for the Mobile App Builder and templates from a file in s3.

This could also cause the error that you are getting.

Could you try again after re-starting Progress Developer Studio (File->Restart)?

Could you also report this issue to Technical Support?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I tried as you suggested without luck so raised a call with Technical Support. The solution in the end was quite simple. Our OE Mobile subscription had expired, this has been resolved and all is working again.
