Hi everybody, we know from documentation that:
"DataServer supports the Unknown value (?), which is represented by a question mark (?)
in OpenEdge. In Oracle the Unknown value (?) is stored as a NULL value (which in Oracle is the same of a zero-length string).
The Zero-length string in ABL is written in Oracle as a " " (One space) in order to distinguish it from the Unknown value (which in Oracle is a NULL=same of an empty string).
Do you know whether it is possible to change this behaviour of the DataServer in order to represent the ABL Unknown value "?" in Oracle in a different way? We would like to represent the "?" ABL with a " " (space) in Oracle, and the ABL "" zero-length string with a "" (empty space/NULL) in Oracle.
Thanks!
