Data Direct Cloud to On-Premise SQL Server Connection Error

I am receiving this error when I try to connect to the SQL Server on-premise: 

[d2c][JDBC Cloud driver][Service]Login failed for user

I located this error, which might be helpful. The associated error number/code is 18456.
 
Login failed for user 'APT-LESTEVE\ron.lesteve'
