Thanks,

My first reaction was “Why should I need to re-compile just to call it up in the AppBuilder.  This cannot be right.”  Since I had nothing to lose I tried it and it worked!  I had to recompile the SDO and SDV before I could call up the SDV in the Appbuilder.  Thanks very much.

Hi Harvey,

It is necessary to recompile your smart objects before they can be used with a different adm version.

The error message that you are seeing is a good indication that you are trying to run r-code for a smart object compiled with a different adm version than the one Dynamics uses.

I’d like to load some of my existing smartobjects into the Posse version of the AppBuilder and then save them to the repository.  I am able to do this with SDO’s.  However, when I try to load an SDV I get the following errors:

BUFFER-FIELD IsRowObjUpdExternal was not found in buffer ADMProps (7351).

Invalid widget-handle.  Not initialized or points to a deleted widget (3135)

BUFFER-FIELD DataColumns was not found in buffer ADMProps (7351)

My regular version of Progress is 9.1D06.

The Posse version is V3 Baseline 3.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
